My grandchildren enjoy going to Mass.

This picture was taken of three of my grandchildren when I had been a Catholic for a little bit less than a year. That was seven years ago!

I can’t believe it’s been that long since I was received into the Catholic Church. It has been a journey of growth and discovery as I continue to learn about my religion. The decision to go through the RCIA process and become a Catholic was definitely the right one for me.

Can you remember the day when Jesus and his Church became real to you? Or are you a cradle Catholic who was simply received into the Catholic Church as a natural part of your upbringing?

Are you someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic or is drawn to the Catholic Church by its beauty and reverence? Or maybe you grew away from the Church and are wanting to return?

No matter what your station of life, Mother Catholic Church is ready to receive you. She waits with her arms wide open.

Maybe this is the right time.

The Gentle Mercy of Christ:

28* “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,* and I will give you rest. 29*p Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

[Matthew 11:29-30]
